Cat In The Window Coloring Page

I just finished this Cat In The Window Coloring Page! It's a drawing of a cat sitting in the window partly behind a flowery curtain. I just love it when my cat Pepsi finds little nooks to sit in; window sills are one of her favorite, but she also loves to climb into brown paper grocery bags or onto empty shelves. Feel free to print this page if you're in the mood for a relaxing cat-coloring session!

Witty Frederick the Literate Blanket Gift for Cat Lovers

Witty Cat Blanket - Frederick the Literate art by Charles WysockiI love this witty Frederick the Literate blanket gift for cat lovers!

The design of the adorable kitty sleeping on the library shelves is a reproduction of an amazing painting by Charles Wysocki; he based the subject on a cat of his own named Frederick. The blanket is large enough, so it's the perfect size for even tall people. Also, it's made of 100% cotton, which always feels good next to your skin and keeps you warm in the winter, but not too warm in the summertime. As you snuggle up with it, you can read the funny book titles in the artwork. Apparently the artist and his wife took a lot of time coming up with all the clever titles, so it's really worth a close look. It's a great blanket to relax with and enjoy some warm, snuggly humor!

Whimsical Wall Clock Gift for Cat Lovers

I love this elegant yet whimsical wall clock gift for cat lovers! Cat in the window hanging wall clock gift for cat lovers

The timepiece is a classic looking analog face in the middle of four cute silhouettes of cats. My favorite one is the cat with the little mouse holding the reins and riding on the kitty's back! That's why I call this whimsical. These four kitties have real attitude!

Cat Rescuers--Modern Day Heroes

I had the chance to visit an animal rescue shelter in Florida, and it was phenomenal. The lady who owns the property and runs the whole thing is a really a modern-day hero, dedicating her life to rescuing and nurturing animals.

The shelter is on a 10-acre farm, and they have the space to rescue different animals like cows, horses, and donkeys, as well as the many dogs and cats of course. Volunteers help run the place, letting the dogs all have their turns in the "run" areas, and making sure everyone has water, food, etc.

The cattery is a giant two-car garage sized room with a gazillion carpeted cat climbing structures and cozy little cubbies that cats love to get into. Entering that room and instantly feeling the stare of every kitty in the place was a fun experience, and it's so great to know there are wonderful people doing this great work rescuing animals that need it.

More Dogs Afraid of Cats

This is too hilarious and reminds me of my dog and cat Pepsi! Pepsi will totally camp out by a doorway just to freak my poor pup out. He cringes exactly like the dog at about 2:45 in the video! Also, check out the crazy kitty at 1:57; that cat looks like a cartoon!
